Tuesday, a friend and I had lunch at Outback Steakhouse. We both had the toowoomba salmon. The food and service were very good.

I ordered a steak and salad. Both were very good. The staff is very nice. The chain needs to update the place but I would go back because the food was good, well priced, and staff was very nice.

We went SOLELY for the koala for an engagement dinner. The food was great. The service was amazing. They changed the decor inside and it's much more open and lots of light. Kinda of expensive but I get it for steaks and seafood.

I haven't been to outback in a gooood while and boy, I forgot what a gem it is. We used to go to OB all the time when I was little, so not only is it delicious, but full off nostalgia for me. In classic Sheffler fashion we all got steaks. I got the filet Sheila which was soooo GOUD. Super super flavorful, cooked to perfection, topped with a delicious peppercorn sauce and provolone cheese. The fried carrot was a perfect crunchy touch to the ever so tender filet. I also am a sucker for some OB fries. They are delish though I will say a weeeee saltier than I'd like. My dad got the Steakmas special bone-in ribeye with bourbon onion. It was super delicious too. Definitely can taste the crisp, sweet bourbon throughout the steak. The garlic butter was a perfect touch and a bite with the onion, butter, and steak was a mouth party. My French onion soup was perfection. Cheese to soup ratio on point. Soup itself super flavorful and savory. Everything #GOUDapproved and i'm reminded once again why it was a family hit while growing up. NEW! FILET* SHEILA two tender filet medallions / melted Provolone cheese / sautéed mushrooms / savory peppercorn sauce / fried Bloomin' Carrot Crunch $29.99 + 2 sides (Aussie Fries & French Onion Soup +$3) THE STAR OF STEAKMAS BONE-IN RIBEYE* WITH BOURBON ONION A juicy 18 oz. bone-in ribeye, extra marbled for maximum tenderness, topped with a caramelized Jim Beam® Bourbon onion, and bacon and roasted garlic butter. Served with choice of steakhouse potato and a side. $33.99
